New Documentary Brings Jaipur’s Miniature-Painting Traditions to the Screen

In January 2024, CACS debuted a short documentary featuring interviews with Rajasthani artists and footage of artists at work. The film brings findings from The Process of Spiritualization through Artistic Activity and Training project to a broad audience.

By centering artists’ perspectives and practices, the documentary helps preserve and communicate the historical, cultural, cognitive, and spiritual significance of miniature painting in Rajasthan.
